In its 27–29 November 2020 edition, the daily newspaper L’Économiste published a feature on the evaluation of higher education in Morocco, entitled “First Overview of Higher Education”.
The publication covers the launch of an evaluation process for Moroccan schools and universities, conducted by the National Agency for Evaluation and Quality Assurance (ANEAQ).
An initial evaluation of institutions
The article describes an initial phase involving a group of twelve public institutions, as part of an approach intended to better assess the quality of higher education and the way institutions operate.
The feature also discusses the challenges of extending evaluation more widely and the role of academic staff and researchers in the process.
