The Minister of Higher Education, Scientific Research and Innovation, Mr. Azzeddine EL MIDAOUI, chaired, on Wednesday, 15 April 2026, the proceedings of the 16th meeting of the Board of Directors of the National Agency for Evaluation and Quality Assurance of Higher Education and Scientific Research (ANEAQ), in the presence of the Secretary General of the Ministry, the Director of the Agency, as well as the members of the said Board.
The meeting was devoted to the examination of the items on the agenda, notably the approval of the minutes of the Board meeting held on 17 March 2025. It also featured the presentation of the Agency’s achievements for the year 2025, as well as discussions on its action plan for 2026, with a view to strengthening its role in supporting the reform of the higher education and scientific research system and promoting quality.
The Board’s proceedings also focused on the review of commitments and payments for the 2025 financial year, as well as the approval of the draft budget for 2026.
In the same context, and as part of its efforts to engage with its international environment, the Board reviewed a number of international cooperation agreements aimed at facilitating the exchange of expertise and strengthening partnerships in the fields of evaluation and quality assurance.
The meeting concluded with the examination of various matters relating to the Agency’s operations and prospects for improving its performance.
