The Board of Directors of the National Agency for the Evaluation and Quality Assurance of Higher Education and Scientific Research met on Monday, September 6, 2021, to decide on two items, namely the closing of the financial statements for the year 2020 and the review of the costs of institutional evaluation services.
The meeting was chaired by Mr. Driss Ouaouicha, Minister Delegate in charge of Higher Education and Scientific Research, in the presence of the members of the Board and some invited guests.
The Minister Delegate opened his address by welcoming the members of the Agency’s Board of Directors, whether present in the room or taking part by videoconference, and kindly recalled that this meeting is a continuation of the meeting of June 30, 2021.
The agenda included the following items:
• Approval of the minutes of the meeting of June 30, 2021;
• Closing of the financial statements for the year 2020;
• Costs of institutional evaluation services.
Regarding the first item, the minutes of the Agency’s Board of Directors meeting held on June 30, 2021 were approved, with a proposal to make some formal corrections suggested by certain members.
Regarding the second item, the floor was given to Mr. Khalid El Fizazi, the Agency’s chartered accountant, to present the financial statements for 2020 and the status of the Agency’s accounts for the 2020 financial year.
Regarding the third item on the agenda, concerning the costs of institutional evaluation services, Mr. El Mokhtar Bakkour, Director of the Agency, gave a presentation on the actual cost of this operation.
In his closing remarks, Mr. the Minister kindly recalled the decisions taken during this meeting and thanked all the members of the Board for their commitment and continued support of the Agency, enabling it to carry out its missions under the best conditions and to the fullest extent.
