Institutional Evaluation – 2025 Wave: Institutions Concerned and Evaluation Stages
1. Introduction
As part of its 2025 work programme, the National Agency for Evaluation and Quality Assurance in Higher Education and Scientific Research is continuing the institutional evaluation of higher education institutions. This initiative takes place within the framework of the Ministry responsible for Higher Education, Scientific Research and Innovation’s participation in the European programme supporting higher education, scientific research, innovation and mobility (ESRIM). This document sets out the background to the 2025 wave, the institutions concerned and the implementation schedule.
2. Context and General Framework
- Under Indicator No. 1 of the ESRIM programme, the Agency is carrying out institutional evaluations of higher education institutions in accordance with its 2025 work programme.
- In line with the National Digital Transition Strategy 2030, which aims to make digitalisation a driver of socioeconomic development, higher education and research institutions in science and technology that had not previously undergone an institutional evaluation were selected.
- Institutional evaluation is based on a self-evaluation conducted by each institution using the National Reference Framework for Evaluation and Quality Assurance in Higher Education and the Self-Evaluation Guide.
- The Agency organises training meetings for those appointed to chair the committees responsible for preparing self-evaluation reports at each institution and supports the institutions throughout the stages of the process.
3. Launch of the Process
