The evaluation of scientific research and its research structures constitutes one of AMEAQ’s major strategic areas. Although this mission is formally incorporated into the Agency’s organisational structure through a dedicated division, its operational implementation is among the priorities of the current roadmap. This ecosystem, whose evaluation is to be systematised, encompasses a broad scope comprising 12 Doctoral Studies Hubs (PEDOC), 50 Doctoral Studies Centres (CEDOC), and 900 research structures. Pursuant to the provisions of the new Law No. 59-24, particularly Chapter 10 thereof, AMEAQ is working to operationalise the said division and to develop a national framework for the evaluation of scientific research, in close consultation with the supervisory ministry.
