  • Other items.

Recommendations:

Regarding the value-added tax applied to expert work, the Agency was invited to propose a modification of the experts’ remuneration scale and to present it to the next Board of Directors meeting.

After the approval of the draft evaluation frameworks, and in application of Article 5 of Law No. 80.12 on the Agency, the Board members suggested publishing it in a regulatory text referring to the decision of the Minister of National Education, Vocational Training, Higher Education and Scientific Research.

Prepare a first version of the Agency’s draft strategy and present it at the next Board of Directors meeting. This requires the Agency to engage with the vision of the universities wishing to participate in the evaluation process by selecting a sample of open-access and regulated institutions, which implies linking the evaluation process to the envisaged strategy.

Creation of two committees, the first in charge of the Agency’s headquarters and the second in charge of studying the remuneration of the Agency’s users for participating in expert tasks. Each of them is composed of one representative of the Agency, one representative of the State Secretariat for Higher Education and Scientific Research, and one representative of the Ministry of Economy and Finance.
