Since its creation, the National Agency for Evaluation and Quality Assurance in Higher Education and Scientific Research (ANEAQ) has equipped itself with the human and methodological means to contribute actively to the performance of the higher education system, in perfect synergy with the national strategy carried by our supervisory Ministry.
ANEAQ has chosen to develop, beyond mere verification of regulatory compliance, a rigorous and constructive evaluation approach.
The Agency has thus established itself as an essential reference structure for guaranteeing the credibility, relevance and performance of our higher education system, working daily toward the lasting anchoring of a culture of quality assurance within the Moroccan university ecosystem.
To consolidate the confidence of students, families and employers in our degrees and our institutions, ANEAQ has chosen to operate in strict compliance with national standards while remaining open to international standards, offering an evaluation framework conducive to the continuous improvement of institutions.
Backed by recognized expertise and a network of qualified expert peers, ANEAQ makes its evaluation methods and its analytical diagnosis available to universities and higher education institutions, in order to successfully support them in facing the major challenges of governance, digitalization, and pedagogical and technological innovation.
ANEAQ’s action is deployed through transparent and objective evaluations covering institutions, programs and scientific research. This approach is designed not as an end in itself, but as a lever for progress. Accordingly, our reports are drawn up to identify the achievements to be promoted and the dysfunctions to be corrected, in a spirit of partnership with academic stakeholders.
Our objective is to inform public decision-making and guide higher education policies. In accordance with Law 80-12, our reports provide a faithful picture of the reality on the ground, making it possible to optimize the allocation of resources for maximum impact and to make quality the common denominator of academic initiatives in the Kingdom.
Strengthened by our commitment alongside our Ministry, the universities and the various components of higher education, we remain convinced that we will be able to build together Moroccan higher education: a higher education of equity, excellence and collective advancement.
